Dear customers, due to the current situation regarding COVID-19, Duvernay Veterinary Hospital Inc. needs to put in place new safety procedures in order to allow animals continued access to quality care while limiting the risk of spreading the virus to customers and caregivers alike.

Please note that for now, we will accept only emergency and medical cases (sick animals, injuries, infections, etc.). We will no longer offer vaccination, grooming, sterilization, nail trims, etc.

It is our duty to evaluate and reduce the risks in each of our actions for both you and your pet and for our employees as well. We want to assure you that we will take every precaution to ensure the safety of all.

Although the clinic * remains open * for essential services * clients will have to stay outside *.

Please take note that these new protocols will be in place MONDAY March 31st.

We will be operating by appointment only.

PROCEDURES THAT WILL BE IN PLACE AS OF MONDAY:

** FOR CUSTOMERS WANTING TO BUY FOOD AND / OR MEDICATION **

- Please contact us prior to your visit in order for us to confirm and prepare your order. If it is possible payment over the phone is preferable. Please call upon arrival and we will bring your order at the entrance of the clinic.

** FOR HEARTWORMS, TICKS AND PARASITES PREVENTION PRODUCTS **

- We recommend that the screening tests be postponed in order to avoid non-essential travel by owners as per government demands.

- Prevention should be started as usual (as of March-April for ticks and June 1st for heartworms / intestinal worms).

- Please contact us to get the necessary medication prepared to protect your companion.

** FOR APPOINTMENTS**
